Luke begins his Gospel by writing… Many have undertaken to draw up an account of the things that have been fulfilled among us, just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the Word (Luke 1:1-2).
When it comes to the blogosphere the same can be said I suppose. Many pour their hearts and souls out on a continuous basis in order that their faith may be shared and their hearts for God made manifest. And so my purpose here is to simply accomplish the same – that my journey of faith, God at work in my life, both my struggles and triumphs, might somehow encourage and call others to faithfulness in their walk with the Father.
We see ourselves so often in pursuit of God. And certainly we do pursue Him. But if we will look objectively at who He is and what He extends to us and how He works – we will see clearly that it is not we who pursue Him, but rather it is He who pursues us….
I plan on writing once a week or so. Some days with a theological discussion. Some days with details of Tiersa and me, our life, and our family. But each time with the purpose of exalting Christ and calling His people to fidelity and unity….
Glory to God!
